I have to admit, usually an awesome profile pic is my only real criteria for clicking 'add to friends'. But in this case, quality of content brings my 'tough standards' into question.

Great posts.
I see you served on the USS Lynde McCormick. As a kid I toured Defoe Shipbuilding's yards and saw the two destroyers they were building for the Australian Navy that were the same type as McCormick. Small world. (I'm also a McCormick myself, a couple of generations back, though not related that I know of to your old ship's namesake.)

Hey MADDAD, I just want to say thank-you. Sharing your story and allowing me to share mine, it has been a powerful experience, very healing for me. It allowed me to take a look at the incredibly heavy burden I've been carrying around, which has forced me to deal with it in a more efficient way.
I hope with all my heart that things get better for you and yours as well and that your baby can feel safe and secure again.
Like I said before, I know our children will be fine, because they know they are loved and cherished and they know we will go to the end of the earth for them, but most importantly... because we believe them and IN THEM.
