Earlier this year, scientists rooting around in a coal mine in Colombia unearthed the 60-million-year-old fossil remains of a gigantic snake. They named it Titanoboa because, well, it sounded real cool and the name Sunshine Snuggle Britches was already taken.
if only we could release a few of these suckers loose on hollywood!
#1: "if only we could release a few of these suckers loose on hollywood!"
Hollywood would just yawn and then proceed to build one that was bigger, better, and meaner! Or they'd say that the ones found by scientists were actually ones they (Hollywood) had created in the first place and "...thanks very much for returning them."
Now, someone in a comment below mentioned the name "Fuzzy Britches," and I recall that, way back at the dawn of time, before the internet, before cable TV, when people read lots of Sci Fi books, there was a book (I think by Robert Heinlein) in which the main character had an ET pet named "Fuzzy Britches."
I always thought that was a cool name, and even had a pet rat named after that character, long, long ago...
This story was worth it just for the laugh I got out of Sunshine Snuggle Britches alone!
I don't think I'd want to come face to face with one, that's for sure. Pretty cool find, though.
i doubt fred flintstone was riding one of these at work! these kind of stories make me scratch my head. remembering the field trips in school, and the museums with the dino's big as mack trucks, and little gave men running around with clubs...lol they would have been prey. oh well differnet subject.
sunshine snuggle britches....bet that will be a user name on nv b4 long! probably for a troll.
Actually, it reminds me of my dog. I called her fuzzy britches. I'll have to use Sunshine Snuggle Britches for my next pet - preferrably not a snake, of course.
