A pair of male penguins who have nested together for six years apparently broke up when a female penguin became available, say caretakers at the San Francisco Zoo.
Harry and Pepper, a pair of Magellanic penguins, started nesting together in 2003 and incubated an egg last year.
However, zoo keepers confirmed in early July that Harry has been nesting with a female penguin, Linda, for several months, said a report in the San Francisco Examiner.
now i am confused, bi-sexual, born homosexual and changed or choice? Joking! lighten up a bit....
Just means guy penguins will screw anything that moves.
Anyway, doesn't change my view that gays should be allowed to marry.
Mine either! They should definately be as miserable as the rest of America!!!!!
The majority of these gay penguins were forced into "gay relationships" because there were not females available for them to mate with. They were never truly gay, just "prison gay."
ROFLMAO!!..They were never truly gay, just "prison gay."
All this proves is that penguins like having a buddy to spend time with if there's no chicks (no pun intended) around. Just like the rest of us. :)

Maybe penguins do more intellectual reasoning than we give em credit. :)
Maybe they just like to get laid. Geeze, we are talking about a friggin bird. Maybe there is a divorce case here if there are any lawyer sharks out there.
Never trust a penguin named Linda. They are always nest-wrecking hussies.
Harry's going to regret leaving the best thing he's ever had. Just you watch.
......LOL
Maybe they liked her outfit!
Maybe they liked her outfit!
lol might be something relevant to what contributed to the one penguin's initial partnering
Birds of a Feather?
Our neutered male cat raised an orphaned kitten, teaching the little male how to clean himself and use the litter box. He also tried real hard to mate with our un-spayed female when she went into heat before we could get her to the vet's.
Animals will be animals...if we allow them to be, and quit the stupid anthropomorphizing.
We are all animals by some definition and I do find the humor refreshing...just MHO
That nest-wrecker Linda! She's already left one man before to be with Fig, (now deceased... maybe she murdered him to be with Harry!) What makes Harry think she would not do the same to him?
Now poor Pepper is all depressed and lonely, but when Linda leaves Harry for someone else it will be his time to glow. That Harry is going to be sorry he fell into Linda- the Tramp- trap. It will serve him well.
lorena, too funny!!!
It only takes one "Fag Hag" and a horny bisexual male, who appears to be totally gay, to bring down the house (nest)! Joke, joke, nothing but a joke! LOL! I love it!
Now I'm lying here with Linda on my mind .... and next to me my soon to be the one I left behind .... and lord it's killing me to see him cry ... he knows I'm lying here beside him, with Linda on my mind
Apologies to Conway
Wow! A Real "Peyton Place" Soap Opera.......................with Penguins! LOL (Better check Linda's nest for a stash of poison, she sounds like a real "barracuda".) ;-O
Lets wait a few years and maybe well see the same thing in humans just need to apply the perfect woman. However I dont' care what your sexually is it would be an interesting human expierment.
Penguins change their minds and have affairs like humans do. It's only shocking if you regard us as significantly different than the rest of the animal world, which we are not.
They probably partnered up out of lonlieness in the first place, then a female shows up and he's gone like a bat out of hell, giving credence to the prison gay concept.
This is better than General Hospital! I await the next installment!
Maybe they prefer being seperated in to boys and girls, like the junior high school prom?
