Who's leading the conversation?
This visualization below allows you to see the impact that each user has on the current conversation. The top row contains the group of users who have had the most impact, the 2nd row the group of users who have had the 2nd most impact (et cetera). Users with similar impact are grouped together, and the average score of the group is shown to the left of the group. The author of the article is also shown on the left, in their corresponding group. Each user's score is based on the number of comments the user has made plus the number of votes their comments have received. The scores are calculated relative one another, so while their absolute value is not particularly important, their relative difference does indicate a larger difference in impact on the conversation.

Supervising Fire Dispatcher Michael Pittman says the agency took a 2-year-old child from a La Habra home Friday for ingesting a nonpoisonous saline solution but couldn't confirm whether the child was Caleb or the home was Suleman's.

ok...i could not give a @!$%# about the nut job octomom....not the topic, but i was just wating for this kinda crap to start. these children are in potential danger and unfortunately i will bet this won't be the last report of this kind, i just hope for the children they don't get more serious with the frequency.

Yeah It shows she has no clue how to care for kids, non-poisonous salt solution" sounds like contact lens solution, which is no more harmful than tap water.. " omg call 911 my baby drank water......." I would love to hear the real 911 call and know what exactly happened, just for my own curiosity

Why am I not surprised? There's no way all those kids are receiving adequate care and supervision. I had heard a while ago that there was some kind of investigation going on with CPS but I don't think I heard what, if anything, came of it. I find it hard to believe the mother could be considered a responsible parent when she's as nutty as a fruitcake. Those poor kids are going to face worse than this if she somehow keeps them all.
