A bill that would exempt breastfeeding Moms from serving as jurors won a first committee vote yesterday, according to the News Service of Florida.
If the bill becomes law, Florida would become the 13th state with such a provision.
The only dissenting vote came from a Lady Lake lawmaker -- also the mother of five -- who said she just didn't see the need because she never had a problem getting out of jury duty, if need be.
Will they have to show up and give a demonstration or will they take their word for it? I detect a loophole.
