A study published Tuesday in the British Medical Journal found that the sex lives of men tend to significantly outlast those of women, even though women live about five years longer.

Okay, so I'm not elderly yet. However, I am a widow. I look around at the men my age and think they look/act at least 20 years older than myself or my late husband. Why would I want to waste my time on what's available to me? Furthermore, I took care of my husband and my family for decades, now it's time to take care of me.
However, if you know of some young, wealthy, intelligent, independent, single hunk, I'd be interested.

Ok, I'm 66 year-old female and for me this research is inconclusive and doesn't apply to me at all. However, I think it may be correct in many ways as when I look at others my age they seem a bit more settled...in body and mind. I believe those who keep a healthy, happy, productive and joyful life going on this study would not apply. If my mate died though I may think differently.

Well, that wouldn't be a surprise but what about the older men? I think it depends on who the "catch" is.

Someone told me that me older men are like parking places, the good ones are all taken and the rest are handicapped.

So if there are many more older women than older men, but the relative percentages of whose who still do sex moderates the actual number of women vis a vis men, then there would not be as much of a shortage of men, if old fools would give up chasing younger women.
