A Brief background...

My adult son had apparently worn out his welcome at my ex wife's home. She set him up in an apartment, and helped him with his bills as long as he was working and doing the best he could....long story short, she dropped him in my lap at age 22, a pregnant ex girlfriend in another area of the state, and no clue. He got one job flippin' burgers and lost it because he "intimidated" his co-workers.....never paid a dime in rent...and I handed him $440.00 over 6 months for various pipe dreams, most of it went up in smoke.

Anyway....

Now he is back with mommy, I will never speak ill of her, I put her through hell. However, she has decided that I am not fit to see my grandchild, and mommy's boy is holding her apron for dear life. My son called and left a message for me on my cell. He said, "If you want to see your grandchild, it will be will me present and at my convince, if you attempted to contact that B!%$( mother of my baby directly I will come down there and take you out...I am grown now!"...he went on, but that was enough.

Reaction...

All the numbers he calls from are blocked, and numbers that comes up from that area code I ignore, and my grandchild is going to get a birthday card from her grandpa, her daddy would grab the cash and stay stoned another week or two. If being "taken out" is the price..well I am too damn old to fight fair & I haven't survived this far by losing, especially to a numb brained druggie like him...

Sorry for the rant....and yes I love the kid, but enough is enough. I call him "Gonna"..he has never done anything he has said he was going to to, but he is always gonna!
