WINTER PARK, Fla -- A Winter Park man was arrested Thursday, accused of having more than 1,000 images of child pornography on his computer, depicting children as young as infants.

According to the FBI, Jason Powell, 29, had graphic online conversations and solicited sexual pictures from who he believed were children.
His mom, a former Orange County school teacher didn't want to give her name but she talked to Local 6 about what happened.
"He's been such a good kid. We had no idea. And one thing I'm very glad of, is that he's been so open and honest with the FBI," she said.
U.S. Magistrate Judge, David Baker, set Powell's bond at $25,000. Baker said Powell will have to wear a GPS monitoring device, he can't have access to the internet, can't have unsupervised contact with minors and must continue to live at home with his parents.
