According to a financial report released Wednesday by the Justice Administrative Commission, $60,226 has been paid so far, with the majority of the billings paying for investigative work and court-appointed, mitigation-specialist expenses. The defense has also billed more than $20,000 for expert witnesses to testify on behalf of 25-year-old Casey Anthony.

Authorities estimate that Anthony's trial, slated to start May 9, will cost more than $361,000. Much of that will be used to house, feed and transport sequestered jurors for eight weeks. The jury will be selected in a still-undisclosed city and transported to Orlando for the trial.

Personally for me there isn't really a cost too high for getting justice for that little girl. We spend a million dollars on absolutely nothing in the country probably a million times a day. Caylee deserves justice.

It's frustrating .... but it's America, the prosecution is dicking around with the case, while the defense cost runs up.

We don't need anybody saying she didn't have adequate defense when they lock her up for teh rest of her life.

Personally, this case meant a lot to me. I have read and watched every minute from the time Caylee disappeared. My girl was the same age and I watched the story unfold in horror.

I don't care what it costs the state to bring Casey to justice. This was the most heinous of crimes. Committed by a psychopath. Committed by the one person, above all that the child should have been able to trust.

May Justice Prevail,

Same for me my daughter was the same age as Caylee was when this first started to unfold and I have been watching every minute for years. I would just look at my daughter and think how could someone do something like that.

I don't care how much it costs either Caylee deserves justice.

I also agree, let's not let Casey have additional kids to kill.

Please give your opinion on my poll of whether or not you think she'll be found guilty.

I was shocked to learn that ABC News had paid Casey Anthony $200,000..supposedly for videos and photos. It has been reported that all of this has been spent, so her legal team is now billing the state for an additional $103,000.

I think this country is obsessed with this case as a way to stop thinking about half of the other disturbing things going on the world. It doesnt make it ok to think that there is not so many other depressing things going on in our own lifes, or other madness.

Alot of people follow this news to forget about our constant bad news and unfortunate things going on the world. I think that justice will never be served for that beautiful little girl.

I think the justice process that happened regarding this, Judge, Jury, Prosecution, Defense did the best they could. They upheld thier duties, they were under a microscope. So she had her day in court only Caylee knows exactly what happened that day. I pray no pain. But its over with we cant change it.

We live in this country and should expect it will never be perfect. Life never is. I think they did thier job they were given. The justice system did its job, the jury, the prosecution, defense did thier job. In honor of Caylee we should not allow Casey or the family to make another dollar on this situation.

We should worry about our other beautiful kids in this world in foster care, or in need of mentors, or people hurting now. We cant change what happened. But we can focus our energy on the beauty of the other innocence here that needs love. There are so many other kids here on this planet in need of love and protection. That would make a great legacy for Caylee, to know the frustration people feel can change other innocent childrens lives, let them be twisted, lying, they have to answer for whatever choices they made one day.

We can choose to follow something that will help someone else and maybe make ourselves feel good in the meantime. Not let her or her family get one more dollar for the twisted and unfortunate way they handled the situation. I have been juilty of following the case out of curiosity. Now I think we should ignore the outcome, and concentrate on something else. Tired of seeing her face.
