Investigation revealed that Piper had sexual contact with a 15-year-old female at his residence and in a vehicle. The alleged victim is a longtime family friend, who police say considered Piper to be a father figure.
Police say there may be other victims. Piper is involved in music ministry at a local church where he has had contact with young people.
Piper's bail was set at $5,000 with a court-approved third-party custodian required for release. Piper is set for arraignment Friday afternoon.
Anyone with information is asked to contact detective Torres at 786-8573.
