BEAVERTON, Ore. -- Someone slipped a prescription pill into a teacher's water bottle, school officials say, but no one is facing charges.
Jesuit High School officials released a statement saying a single capsule was placed in the bottle by a student last week.
The teacher never drank it and school authorities conducted their own investigation.
On Friday, Beaverton police said that after interviewing everyone involved, they will not arrest the student nor forward the report to the district attorney.
Officers are not testing the water to find out what drug was placed in it.
Their decision is based on the teacher's request that no charges be filed against the student, police say.
The case is now closed and the student will be disciplined by the school.
