LAKELAND - Every Saturday, Ellen McNamara features an amateur athlete from The Bay Area. This weekend, she introduces you to a hand cyclist who inspires everyone he meets. The back of Michael Fradera's shirt says a lot, and he is always trying to push himself to another level. "It felt like being back in the military, that's why I love it so much!," Fradera said. For 10 years, Fradera served. He was in the marine corps, and then the Army. He was just about to sign on for another four years, when his vehicle was hit by an I.E.D.
