After investigating, police say 18-year-old Tyler Kamler told them 23-year-old Brandon Kamler became upset when Tyler asked him about the broken bong -- a glass or plastic water pipe commonly used to smoke marijuana.
Police say they later found some small bags of marijuana, an ashtray and two smoking pipes buried in a flower bed after asking Brandon Kamler if there were other drugs in the house.

Reminds me of a buddy of mine who threw a keggar at his cabin, had someone steal a lid, and called the cops and reported it stolen. The cops asked my buddy if he had any idea who would have stolen it and my buddy threw out a name. The cops went to the person, ended up arresting him, then took the lid back to my buddy to identify the stolen property and when he did, arrested him as well.

Buddy, huh?
Not real close, but his dad was rich, so he threw some good keggars :). Funny, though, I went to a Loverboy/Eddie Money concert with my wife at a local casino a few years ago and I told her that story on the way down to the show. After getting our seats, I glanced up, and there he was, walking by. My wife couldn't understand why I was having such a hard time not laughing when I said "hi" to him.

I would have had a hard time, not saying something like: "Hey there. How're you doing. We were just talking about you..."
Sometimes it is a small world.

Lets cut him some slack...maybe you all live in a state when under certain amts.is only a slap on the wrist...so if some one stole your pot, [which by the way has escalated to approx. the same price as gold...he got confused on the who was arresting who etc.
I live in one of those states and when I got my legal card which allows me to grow a couple plants..I was thinking of telling my local officer just to be on the up and up...well I had an epiphany just in time and saved myself before doing something rash...I got confused.....heh,heh just saying.....

Yeah, if only...this was in Idaho in the late '70's...it was a bonehead move, no two ways about it.
On a side note, my buddy used to clean out the seeds he'd keep in his pocket when he'd go to his parents house by tossing them out the window at the end of the driveway. One day a cop was driving by and did a classic slam on the brakes, put it in reverse, and low and behold, the bush ny the street that his dad was grooming and taking good care of was...wait for it...a huge bushy Columbian gold marijuana bush. His dad couldn't figure out why the cops were digging up one of his best bushes.

Most of us who are of a particular age have one of these stories...I have several..one; while in school in Calif. I planted a wee little guy in back of my grandfathers duplex, where I was living and going to school...I did not know his meter was on the back of the house and my wee plant was in front of the meter....One day, a stoned thought crossed my mind when I saw the meter reader going to the back of the house...I looked out my bedroom window to see what he was doing and where he was going, to find him kneeling in front of my huge wee plant , half his body inside of it, reading my meter. When he emerged he had a large bud in his mouth chewing away and a stem in his pocket....my mom also asked my daughter what I used to create such a big tomato plant?. These may have been the "old Days", but I still have some good memories....I have to say I never considered calling the police over misappropriated pot.

One thing my brothers and I did not do was fight .. we may have argued a bit.. especially at that age..but never did we fight over 'things'.. a bong is worth more than the relationship with a close member of the family?? Stupidity reins supreme. They deserve what they get as a consequence...and possibly more..
