A Dayton man who pleaded guilty earlier this month to four counts of rape of a child under 13 and one count of rape by force was sentenced to eight years in prison Monday.Kevin Collins, 31, faced a possible 50 years in prison because each of the five counts carried a possible sentence of up to 10 years, according to Montgomery County Assistant Prosecutor Mary Montgomery. “We were asking for the maximum,” she said. “Obviously we had hoped for more.”
